The Contender class at Kieler Woche 2016 has indeed proven to be a Danish success with Søren Dulong Andreasen from Hellerup Sejlklub as 1st,  Jesper Nielsen fra Aabenraa Sejl Club as 2nd and Jacob Skovgaard Kristensen from Hellerup Sejlklub as 3rd. Congrats to all of you!

In total the class counted 38 participants - out of which 13 were Danes. All together they competed in 11 races.

Jesper Nielsen who works with Elvstrøm Sails in Aabenraa won last year and had a leading position for quite some races in this years Kieler Woche, too. Of course Jesper is powered by Elvstrøm Sails, but so is Jacob who came in as 3rd.
