X-Yachts Gold Cup 2021 with Elvstrøm service and power
The X-Yachts Gold Cup 2021 was held at the International Sailing Center in Aarhus with the help of Sailing Aarhus. X-Yachts calls it an event with style!
In fact the only missing thing seemed to be the sun. Which one could argue is a bit typical Danish ;-). A large number of X-Yachts participate in the Gold Cup which is held every second year. And with our proximity to the yard and our close cooperation with X-Yachts we at Elvstrøm Sails of course back up the event. And this year we had an on-site service team for quick repairs if needed.
Strong results
In the race 11 yachts in total in 4 of the 5 classes in Top Ten were Elvstrøm powered. Congrats to all of you.
In the Family Class we have Elvstrøm power in the first and second place, with X-442, Team Paulsen and with X-4_3, Team Barth. In the 50+ class we have Elvstrøm power in the second place with X-55, Gonzalez. In the Sports Class A we have Ventoux X-37 in the first place and more well-known names just a bit further down :-). In Sports Class B we have X-4_3 Soffe in a third place. Well done to all of you, congrats!
