EKKO is our commitment at Elvstrøm Sails to listen and respond with a sustainable approach. And with our Danish heritage it comes as the only natural response.
Materials
One of our first steps on the sustainable agenda was to source recycled materials for our production of sails. We are constantly looking into more possibilities within sail cloth and materials in general, that are made from recycled materials. Materials make up quite a big part of our entire business and thus it is only natural to investigate our opportunities here.
Carbon Footprint
In cooperation with Dansk Industri we have been enganged in calculating our Carbon Footprint through the so-called "Klimaklar" programme. This work continues enabling us to better understand how and where we as a business can improve our processes. Stay tuned!
