The recent Kornati Cup 2025 was a fantastic regatta - once again held off the coast of Croatia by Pitter Yachtcharter, and in amazing conditions with steady winds of 10-25 knots throughout.
The racing - five in total, consisting of four coastal races plus one up-and-down leg was held for multiple classes of boats.
In the Pitter Charter class with spinnaker, it was a dominant win for the Elvstrøm Sails-powered Bavaria C46, equipped with a fully battened eXRP Cruise mainsail, a XYLO jib and a Nylite 90 spinnaker, which sailed to the win in all five races.

A mixed team
The team behind the C46 and its class victory was a mix of hands from Segelmanufactur, Yachten Meltl and Gotthardt GmbH, Felix Ertel from Segelmanufactur says:
- Our crew consisted of three sailmakers from Segelmanufactur – Max Trippolt at the helm, Jakob Gruber on the mast, and Felix Ertel on trim. We were joined by two guys from Yachten Meltl: Johannes Kratz on the pit and Florian Schäfer – who also served as our skipper – on the main. On the bow we had Christoph Niediek from Gotthardt GmbH, the Selden importer for Germany and Austria. The sails performed perfectly, and the crew worked together seamlessly – it was a great team effort!
