EPEX Soft is a new EPEX membrane with no film. To compensate for the strength that the film adds, the fiber layout is adjusted accordingly. The new membrane is soft, easy to pack and handle. Thus, especially suitable for cruising sails.
EPEX soft comes with a white taffeta and typically a technora fiber or a vectran/polyester combination. The technora fiber is a high-performance fiber with high tenacity and low elongation, improving the shape. The fiber combination Vectran / Polyester is a popular and competitive cruising choice.
