In-Boom Furling Main - Woven Dyneema, Hydranet
This in-boom furling mainsail is made from the trioptimal design that distributes the forces the sail is exposed to optimally ensuring a stable sail shape. A shape that is efficiently maintained for many years. Available in several cloths, were the polyester based cruising laminate provides an efficient and long-lasting sail. If you are searching for an extremely solid option, the woven dyneema (hydra net radial) is the best choice. The horizontal full battens help keep the shape, and make sure the furling in to the boom runs without problems. The lowest battens are also working as reefing point as they stretch out the reefed down mainsail.
Woven Dyneema is a strong sail cloth, tightly woven as a high tenacity fabric. The woven dyneema cloths are polyester fibers with a grid of dyneema.
